The Fernpass (raod B159) is a quite nice ride when there´s not much traffic. Unfortunatelly it´s one of the main north / south connections. This means that on weekends and in the holiday season it´s crowded with tourist cars and on weekdays with trucks. There are often traffic jams on the route. Better avoid it....
The Hahntenjoch is a nice mountainpass. The road is rather small but well maintained. Especially on the eastern ramp there are some very nice views. Unfortunatelly there are some drawbacks:
(1) Speedlimit of 60 km/h on the eastern ramp
(2) It´s very crowded on weekends and public holidays, therefore better ride during the week if possible
(3) The Hahntenjoch is one of the streets in the Tyrol where loud motorcycles are banned during the summer season (status 2019). Gather information if your motorcycle is allowed there before planning your trip!!!!
The L21 is a nice and twisty road which is fun to ride. The views are not really spectacular. The road is well maintained and rather small, but not too small. NOTE: (1) The road is very popular and therefore crowded on weekends and public holidays. If possible ride on a weekday. (2) The L21 is one of the roads in the Tyrol where loud motorcylcle are banned during the summer season (status 2020). Get information if your motorcycle is legal there before riding!!
Like the Maloja, the Oberjochpass is a "one side" pass. It has only one ramp leading up from Bad Hindelang in the east to Oberjoch in the west. The top is only at 1135 meter, but the road up there is interesting. There are no sharp hairpins, but some 180° corners with a wider radius. So there´s quite some lean time in these bends. The road is in excellent condition. This all sounds like a lot of fun, but (1) there is a general speed limit of 60 km/h, (2) overtaking is not allowed and (3) the traffic is usually heavy with lots of tourists during the weekends and in summertime. Be careful: Busses and bigger trucks can come across to your lane in the sharper corners. Almost at the top there is a nice viewing platform called "Aussichtspunkt Kanzel" where you can also have a coffee while enjoying the view.
