From Lysebotn, the end of the Lysefjord, the road climbs via many hairpin bends (one even in a tunnel) up to the Øgardstøl restaurant. From the terrace of the restaurant there´s a great view down to the Lysefjord. The road continues over a rough fjell. Best way to get to the starting point in Lysebotn ? Take the ferry and enjoy the trip on the Lysefjord with spectacular views.
