THE MUPPET STORY: Three ways to get to this beautiful camping, all of aprox 2 hours away from Thessaloniki. The first is E2 ,the old national road to Kavala, where at the village Stayros you take the road to Ierissos. Most of the road a straight line, the most beautiful part of the road is Rentina with its forest. The second road is E16 from the capital of Halkidiki,Polygyros.Rigth after village Ag,Prodromos the road splits.Either you go to Arnaia or to Polygyros, the road is pretty much the same.Lots of cornering for motorcycles, beautiful forest scene.the Arnaia road leads to a kiosk with breathtaking view of village Stratoni (we give you a pic from the kiosk). Both roads lead to Ierissos as well. TIP:if you take this particular road to come back,be carefull of the asphalt,in many spots is either broken or bad shaped from the trucks that used to turn back from gold mine of Skouries. The third road is coastal, you take the road to Moudania, then to Polygyros and rigth after village Plana, the roads connects with Arnaia's,and the last part is the way to Ierissos as well. Eitherway you choose to go to Ierissos its dificulty is 3/5 for cars and 4/5 for motos, most of the parts you can't spead up over 60klm/h. So,to finally go to the camping ,you take the road to Nea Roda,go through the village and there is a 20minutes country road that leads to the camping, you should better ask for instructions, beacause there is no clear sign that could help you find the way. After all this road Odyssey :p ,this camping is organised,it has restaurants, mini market, sports activities, playroom for kids, its has high quality on cleaning services, there are villas as well for the blue-blooded :p with architecture awards. The best part of it is the 800 m white sanded beach with tirquise waters, awarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in Chalkidiki. And it's not exaggeretion!
