This is an extremely pleasurable road if you like your twisties. It’s been recently renovated with spotless tarmac and wide spaces to take the hairpin bends, of which there are plenty to enjoy. It’s located in the Mátra mountains, and leads you to the lovely hamlet of Sirok, where there’s the option to hike up to a nice castle. The view here is mostly to the lovely oak and elm forest, which gives you shade and cool from the sun in summer. There’s plenty of wildlife, so watch out, even more so because after the heavy rains there’s often some residual dirt on the road.
