Lesotho is a unique country for several reasons, located in the interior of South Africa it has no exit to the sea but offers many mountains. Its lowest point is at 1,400 meters above sea level which means this is the country with the highest lower elevation in the world. So if you are looking to arrive by motorcycle to this Kingdom of mountains we recommend you to choose the Sani Pass, a gravel path that climb the Drakensberg. Starts at 1544 m, and climbs 1332 vertical meters to an altitude of 2876 m. Only 4x4 vehicles are allowed on the road, but no problems if your have the proper motorcycle. Be careful in winter, the road may be covered with snow.
