hello bikers, I propose a very suggestive road on dirt roads and old military roads, which can also be traveled with great caution by road bikes. The route is initially on an asphalted road (9km) kept quite well, with beautiful views (if you don't find fog) and many curves. The departure is from Passo Maniva at about 1646mt above sea level, as a reference you can take Maniva Ski on Google Maps), follow the signs towards Passo Crocedomini 1892mt above sea level (17km total) on the provincial road BS 345 of the Three Valleys. Following the road you reach the Dosso dei Galli where there is an old NATO communication station now abandoned just above the road. Then the part on the beaten white road begins (8km) quite easy, pay attention to the holes for those with low bikes, but the road is also passable by supersport bikes (with greater attention), for the various bikes such as my Tenèrè 700 is his ideal habitat. Along the way there are also some benches with wooden tables, which however in high season you will always find busy if you pass there during lunch time. The road has no climbs or challenging descents, just pay a little more attention in the final part that descends towards the Crocedomini Pass which has some loose stones on the road, but just go slowly and you can do it without problems. The road is quite busy in summer, fortunately not very much, but be careful in curves without visibility because you might find a jeep or another motorbike in the opposite direction. The road is closed in the cold months (openings vary according to the weather). PS: if you like hiking there are many well-marked trails that start along the way Have fun!
