The Main Road to climb Mount Etna is often full with buses and cars with tourists. Therefor the 'middle road' is more interesting for bikers. As you still have to come down or up afterwards choose the main road for that. Be careful Mount Etna is erupting all the time, sometimes the road can be covered with lava 'gravel'
