this is the place where the Danub river separates tha Carpatians from the Balcans mountains. The mighty river enters the gorges from north-west to exit south-east. Quite a few miles of pleasant looking road and scenary. Lots of places where to eat, sleep or rest along the route in the romanian side. I've travelled in november and came across maybe ten cars. Fast curves in mostly tidy and well gripping asphalt. Enjoy it!
