Start at 1330 meters in the town of Encamp. You will go up on very nice twisty road to the Intermediate Funicamp station at the Cortals ridge at 2090 meters. At the top the scenery is just fantastic. If you have the motivation you can hike up to 2502 where you will find the largest ski area in the Pyrenees.
