Riding on the Canadian Shield doesn't get much prettier than this. Wildlife everywhere (saw deer, turkey, moose, fox, and a staggering variety of birds from herons to kingfishers on the rainy day in June that I did this ride. Road surfaces vary from excellent to poor. A bike with long suspension is a nice way to do it. Lots of local places to stop and enjoy locally sourced food and drink. The visitor centre in Algonquin is worth a stop for the view out back if nothing else.
