road that crosses the Extremadura meadows (la dehsesa) home of the best jamón. Visit Olivenza a portuguese city settled by the spanish, stop to visit Jeres de los Caballeros and have some jamón at Jabugo (home of 5J). The road has a mix of everything. Take a updated GPS to point out the many speed cameras.
