A single carriageway road that moves through rural farmland and a few mountain passes. The surface is not perfect, but not challenging on a standard/sport/cruiser. One of the downsides of the road is that it is possible to get stuck behind slow vehicles, and passing while possible will require crossing a double yellow; this is up to you. The views here are brilliant, and as long as you're not stuck behind a car or truck, you'll be able to stretch your legs and flow through some of the gentle curves. One of my favorite things about the road is that it will take you right back to interstate 8, where you can head on home at highway speeds when done riding. A variation of this route is to take Lyons Valley Road instead of Skyline Truck Trail.
