Super nice twisty road with good asphalt and very enjoyable views (big mountains and valleys, you will feel pretty small). In Arouca you can visit the convent and museum and delight with the wonderful local pastry and food. On this road is also located the entrance to River Paiva Walkways (http://www.passadicosdopaiva.pt/) which is an amazing pedestrian circuit, built in wood, along side the river and the face of the mountain, which would be otherwise inaccessible. After that, if you fancy some refescation you can swim on the river beach. If you come visit Portugal a visit is a must!
