This toll road leads from Hinterriss to the end of the valley to the "Großer Ahornboden" (= Grand Maple Tree Ground), where more than 2000 maple trees, some several hundred years old, stand on a mountain pasture in front of a spectacular mountain range. The road is narrow, but well maintained and has a speed limit of 50 km/h (status April 2018). It´s a slow ride to enjoy the landscape. At the end of the road there´s a hotel with a restaurant and a coffee-house with a fantastic mountain view. The road is closed during winter time.
