Winding into the foothills of the Himalayas, Route 34 offers fantastic views of the valley below. Cutting along the side of these hills / mountains, you pass through small mountain towns, allowing travelers a chance to stop for pictures, chai, or a snack. The road is mostly good, but there are a few stretches that make for slow and careful movement.
