This road is probably the best we’ve ridden this year so far in Romania, in terms of road conditions and fun factor. You have 50km of curves passing through the Natural Park of Putna-Vrancea, going up and down the mountains. Wide curves cutting through deep forests will make you wish this road will never stop. The car traffic is quite low, the road being very popular amongst the local riders community. It is very usual you will meet groups of bikers on the road, especially during the weekend. To get here, you either come from Targu Secuiesc, following the road signs towards Focsani, or if you come from the other side, from Focsani, follow the indicators towards Lepsa/Targu Secuiesc/Brasov (DN 2D). The road from Focsani to Tulnici is almost perfect in terms of road conditions, there might be some bumpy portions due to land slides.
