Every year I tend to spend couple of days at the sea side, my second home during summer months. Couple of times per year, the greatest pleasure for me is to sit on my bike, starting near Ljubljana, and enjoy the ride through Postojna, Vrhnika, Sezana, Pivka, to the Slovene - Croatian border. Connecting to Jadranska magistrala near Rijeka, and the journey begins - sea on one side, hills on the other, sun and sometimes wind under the wheels, the most amazing scenery all the way to Biograd na Moru. Some would say the road is nothing special and everyone drove Jadranka before...but for me it is THE road, THE ride, road leading home to the sea, where heart is. I never get tired of this panorama, and know every corner by heart.
