The TF-28, also called the 'Old road' used to be the main road between South and North of Tenerife, untill the TF-1 highway got build alongside it. The TF-1 will take you from Los Christianos to Santa Cruz comfortably in under an hour. The TF-28 however is build alongside the mountains and follows its curves, riding it from south to north will easily take more than 3 hours. The road condition is not all that good in some places, but the road is generally quiet and gives you twisties till you really can't take it anymore.
