Crete is a fantastic destination. The southernmost island of Europe has sea and mountains, beaches and peaks, tarmac and gravel, you name it, you find it. Off high season, when the island is not sinking of the millions of tourists that come here every summer, it's the biker's paradise. This road is only a very small piece of dirt road that can be still driven on any adventure bike and will take you to almost to the top of the mountains that rise at the south of Rethymno. I advise to take the ride and enjoy the views from over 1000m above sea level at just a couple of kilometers away from the shore.
