Main Road up and down the Etna. Loads of buses and rental cars, but if you want to go up the etna then there's not really an alternative (except for the middle road). Also be wary as the Etna is still an active volcano and from time to time the eruptions bring some lava rain that, depending on the direction of the wind, can rain down as lava 'gravel' on the road.
