Steadily rising from Eldoret to Iten, this road is riddled with speed bumps, pot holes, and other road obstacles. While it is wide, it's shoulder isn't passable, making it difficult to find your patch of road when a matatu attempts to take you over. Passing through Iten, the road begins a descent with many fun switch backs along the Kerio escarpment, offering a spectacular view of the Kerio valley, a must ride road for those exploring Western Kenya.
