This road links two towns, Rotes and Riano and crosses the San Gloria Pass. It's a great riders road, with everything from fast sweeping bends to technical alpine climbs. Generally the surface was good, but in places was a little rough and suffering from the occasional patch repairs, there was also the occasional bend with gravel strew about, but nothing too surprising. It's worth taking the little detour at the top of the San Gloria to the Mirador de Llesba for a stunning view of the Pico's. Potes is very touristic with plenty of cafes and restaurants, but we also found a fabulous friendly cafe with a little terrace in Riano called the Bar Musical Gilbo.
