The D400 between Zeytinada and Anamur is another road by the coast that
goes up a little bit higher and is full of twisties. You will see the many fields and
steep slopes where they grow bananas. The plastic-covered and metal-framed
greenhouses are also used to produce bananas. Turkey has been producing
bananas since the first half of the 20thcentury. Bananas are grown along the
Mediterranean coast, protected by the Taurus mountains.
