A new 40mph limit knocks a star of this road's 'pleasure' rating, but it's still a stunning pass over the western Brecon Beacons. Absolutely beautiful to ride at sunset. Tackle it from north to south rather than the other way round, as the northern ascent is tight, technical, and fun even at the reduced speed limit.
