If you ever go to Ljubljana i recommend OH Apartments. Old building ( castle stile interior ) cool rooms, no need for Air Conditioner, 30 minutes walk to old city center. Starting from Ljubljana to the Alps, we rode exclusively on national roads, which led us near Bled, which we wanted to visit but ended up to a smoke in a gas station near it: beautiful place but overcrowded, traffic and from my point of view its a pity one cannot enjoy the place. We pass in Austria on Wurzenpaß , one of the steepest if you come from AU to SLO ( 18% ) it even has signs to use 1gear. Tarmac on Austrian side is quite bumpy, but as expected, the scenery , the overall view on the entire leg was actually what i have been waiting for.
