Start at the small village of Wookey (where there's at lovely cafe -( The Hub) Climb up single track/ tarmac roads via Wookey Hole to a view point (Deers Leap) just before Priddy and on a clear day look out towards Glastonbury Tor, The Quantocks, the Somerset plains and over Bristol Channel towards Wales and the Black Mountains. You could choose turn and make a detour down into Cheddar and return up through its gorge (going up is best in my view) and head cross country towards Cheddars poor relation , Burrington Combe for a few downhill twisties
