Going from the heart of Apuseni in Albac, this 80 km road goes up the mountain into the Apuseni National Park, to the other side of the mountain towards the old town of Huedin.

Best in late autumn, or spring

I had such a fantastic time on this route on a sunny late autumn day. The leaves were rich in color and made my day. The road was partially under construction in late 2022 but was ridable on my naked motorcycle. I guess constructions will be finished in the first half of 2023.
