Situadas entre las provincias de Ciudad Real y Albacete, en la Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla La Mancha. En esta ocasión la visita a sido a las lagunas de Ruidera, un paraje de gran belleza que nos ha impresionado. A unos 30 kilómetros del nacimiento del Guadiana Alto o Guadiana Viejo y a lo largo de unos 24 kilómetros, encontramos un total de 16 lagunas escalonadas, que forman el conjunto de las Lagunas de Ruidera. Las lagunas están unidas por cascadas de una altura entre 2 metros y los 24 metros de la cascada del Hundidero, que es la más alta. La primera laguna, la Laguna Blanca, está situada a 895 metros sobre el nivel del mar y la última, la laguna Cenagosa, está situada a 760 msnm. Tras la Laguna Blanca pasamos por Ossa de Montiel, unos kilómetros más adelante nos encontramos con la cueva de Montesinos de origen natural. La gruta es conocida por aparecer en la novela Don Quijote de la Mancha, cuenta con el estatus de bien de interés cultural en la categoría de sitio histórico. En Ruidera nos desviamos para ver la cascada del Hundidero. Continuamos viendo el resto de lagunas Terminamos el recorrido bordeando el embalse de Peñarroya, y finalizamos en el castillo de Peñarroya, con unas vistas impresionantes de la presa y el embalse.
