Last step before returning to Phnom Penh. To get to Kampot, you can take a detour up the mountain, or follow the main road. The area is very touristic, so there is traffic, and the first part of the road is in a terrible state (the worth in Cambodia after Cardamom). We advise you to go to Kep to enjoy beaches and mangroves, see salt fields. You can also visit many pepper plantations around east of Kampot.
