seeking for some fresh air during summertime, this is the right road to escape from the hot desert straights on your way back to central areas of Morocco. this recently sealed segment overshoots two mountain passes, Tizi n'Fougani and Tizi n'Ait Imi at 2990 m and 3005 m respectively.

In 2024.02 we drove the downloadable GPX route "Highest pass of Morocco". I ride my 2015 BMW R1200GSA motorcycle with a passenger. About 20% of the entire route is gravel road. The road section before the 3005m pass had satisfactory road surface and a very strong crosswind. The short road section before the 2995m pass is a gravel road with off-road elements. If you have experience in off-road driving, you will have no problems. The road has breathtaking views and is worth trying to complete this route
