Starts with a mountain pass between towering peaks, and sheep grazing freely, continue into the forested valley. Soon you will come to Lyngstølsvatnet. This crystal clear lake was created by a landslide, and swallowed several buildings. You can see the remains from the road. Continue to traditional Øye Hotel, and watch as the valley opens up to one of the most beautiful fjords in Norway.
