Starting from "Posta fibreno Lake"(where you can see the famous floating isle and the Jesus Christ statue on the lake bottom),wonderful natural reserve in provence of Frosinone-Lazio,we take the statal road until Atina,then we turn for Cardito direction adjacent Land of "Molise"(No fast road or SS,i hate them,only normal twisty road).Once arrived to Cerreto,near beautiful "Mainarde molisane rocks" we turn for Alfedena direction other adjacent land of"Abruzzo"until wonderful "Barrea" lake,other natural reserve (Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo).There are many interesting activities to play inthere specially on winter with skiing &snowboarding on all.Once in Barrea we take for Scanno Lake,acrossing wonderful "Passo Godi"direction "Villalago " where we can find the spectacular "Gole del Sagittario"with relative "eremo di San Domenico"that is a little Christian church situated in a unique landscape on lake.Sincerely during this trip you can find more than 3 lakes.For me is one of the most beautiful rides in Italy,to try to believe!Road in Molise is a little rough and dirty so take care of this info.The restant roads are very very twisty,good asphalt but even fast-mountain roads.On winter you can find 30% of entire road ever wet.Perfect season is Spring,Summer and 1st part of Autumn.Good meal area based on truffles,cheese,meat and mushrooms.
