Molėtai district is famous for “funny” roads which cannot count the number of hills and turns. Perhaps the best known road is Molėtai - Anykščiai, and the most famous location of this road is the Grandma‘s (Bobutės) hill. If you ride 100km/h, all the wheels of the car or motorcycle tear off the road and the whole crew will enjoy the flight. It is not advisable to exceed the speed, numerous markings on asphalt made by landing cars warn about it. The hill has that name because of the old lady enjoying every lift off from her house near by.
