From Millau to Ambialet (Just east of Albi) simply followed the banks of the river. Roads generally very good, pleasant flowing curves with excellent views. Although the road passes many villages, we didnt see many places to stop for a coffee. We did find a nice little restaurant near the chateaux at Brousse. The road was very quite, we saw almost no other traffic in June 2016. The lower part of the route the road follows the path of a disused railway, including many of the narrow tunnels, some with traffic light controls. (Part of our 2016 D-Road Trip around France)
