This is AZ-179 between I-17 and downtown Sedona (intersection of AZ-179 and AZ-89). Great views of Sedona's major mesa and buttes. Red rock formations dominate the landscape. Be sure to stop by this very unique city. One of the rules of the city of Sedonna is that all buildings must blend in with the landscape, as evidenced by the fact that a famous hamburger store was banned from using its very bright yellow logo and had to change it to a sky blue, as well as the building that is in earth tones.
