In the South of Namibia there is a ghost town like you have never seen before. A place that less than a century ago was a symbol of power and wealth next to a diamond mines, today is only the ruins of houses swept by the desert, the dunes invaded this place. The route is paved but be careful with the wind. A few kilometers away is Lüderitz where you can spend the night comfortably and fill your gas tank. Camping is another option, Namibia is very safe compared to its South Africa.
