This road is an alternative to the coast road ; less traffic , carvans, lorries, hold ups with more opportunities to overtake so will get you into Exmoor a lot quicker with views of the Exmoor Forest and Blackdown Hills. Includes twists and climbs with opportunities to dive down to the coast road at numerous points .There is also an opportunity to take a 5 min detour and take the single track just after Wheddon Cross and climb to Dunkery Beacon , the highest point of the moors.
