The Preikestolen rock is one of the 'must visit' places in Norway... but before/after the 4 to 6 hours walk up and down you still need to get there and that gives you plenty of opportunity to enjoy the road. The road up to the start of the walk is very busy! By the way, we suggest you to walk up to the rock in the evening and camp on the rock itself to enjoy one of the the most wonderful nights of your life!

Night on the top is a must-do in your life!

An absolute magnificent thing to do is to pick up the tent on top of Preikestolen! I definately agree it's a must-do in your life! Roads around the Preikestolen are also excellent so it's the an obvious point to choose for your next trip! Prepare for a 4-hour walk up there, be aware of cold nights also! Under the Preikestolen you can find a hostel, where you can spend your next night (there is a lake next to it so make sure to bring your fishing rod with you :))
