Twisty narrow roads around the castles Kokorin and Houska. You will ride along the small rivers and up and down the hills from the narrow valeys to the plains or hills around. The woods are there dark and deep, full of elfes and fairys. The sandstone rocks are dark and in the ponds lives the water goblins called in czech "Hastrman" or "Vodnik". The asphalt roads are lined by the very old semi wooden houses like from fairy tales. The traffic is very low and surface is sometimes great, sometimes shit. So be careful. Oh yes, there is one more fairy tale in the area - it's a story about vicious or erratic root. If you drive over you lost the way and drive up and down and enjoy the beautiful landscape and funny roads in the whole area all day long. The great roads are in fact from the road 15 on the west to the road 16 on the east. Be relaxed - there is a lot of fine simple pubs and restaurants on the way. Road n. 9 in the middle is also very nice, perfect surface, wide road, beautiful landscape. If you want to ride fast, that's it. But there is heavy traffic in the rush hour.
