The circuit of Jerez opened in 1985 and had a few adaptions since then. It has been for a very long time in the F1 calendar, but now the big races here are the MotoGP race early in the season and the WorldSBK race at the end of the season. The surface has been re-done in 2017 and we confirm it's very smooth... There's a lot of trackdays (check: http://www.circuitodejerez.com/) on the circuit and even if you don't want to drive down you can rent your bike with the school of Jose Luis Cardoso (http://www.cardososchool.com/) - which we did and enjoyed, even if it was on the 9&10th of December...
