The Valle de Cocora is world-famous for its wax palms, the tallest in the world (reaching up to 60m). It is quite surreal to see them at 2,400m elevation. This is one of the most scenic dirt roads in Colombia through the heart of the coffee region. Just make sure you save some energy to explore Salento afterward -it’s the most charming town in the area and the perfect place to park the bike for the night.
