A campground surrounded by great riding and scenery. Cabins are available at the Paso Picacho Campground which is a part of this California State Park. Photos are from the campground and a bit of the scenery in the area. From the mountains you can look down upon the desert floor and the Old Overland Stage Route of 1849. Carry plenty of extra water if you decide to drop down to the desert.
