Italian and Austrian mountain passes are on the bucket list for this two-day tour from Genoa, Italy, to Brno in the newly-renamed Czechia.
Craggy crests of the Dolomites surround you on the SP641, as switchbacks are dispatched one by one. Next up are the breathtaking panoramas of Passo Giau. Tarmac becomes more cracked and crazy on the Pustertaler Höhenstraße over the border in Austria, but nothing prepares you for the spectacular Grossglockner Alpenstrasse. Worth the price of its toll five times over, this is an alpine pass with a road surface on par with regional race circuits.
